Farewell 2010

January:

We began the year dancing and boat riding.

February:

Jake decided it would be way cute to have little kids shoot at me for Valentine's day....

March:

Witnessed Paul McCartney in person. WOW.

April:

Struggled with taxes and celebrated Natali's birthday.

May:

Tutored the most amazing kids.

June:

Took in my last moments with Jake.

Sent him off to Chile.

July:

I turned 19.

August:

I apartment shopped.

Purchased my first coffee maker.

Moved in with the BEST roommates.

September:

Somewhat paid attention in school.

Cheered the Ducks on.

Granger came home.

October:

Decided to move to London.

Took a spontaneous trip to California.

Celebrated Halloween.

November:

Took off to NYC.

December:

STRESS MONTH.

Stressed over London.

Stressed over finals.

Stressed over apartments.

Everything.

Annie threw Steph and I a going away party.

Took pictures with Santa.

Began the packing process.

Celebrated Christmas.

Enjoying the last moments of 2010 with family and friends.

2011 has a lot in store for me. 

tonight's gonna be a good good night

First off, world, my bff flappio is home. Yes, life is VERY good right now! I missed that kid like crazy and it's so good to have him home again!

Secondly, it's game day! Chris and I are going to the Oregon game tonight to cheer on the Ducks and I am pumped! Gotta do my cheering on Jake's behalf.

And paperwork hell is coming along, sorta...

But who cares, tonight all I care about are my Ducks!

51 days and counting

I really missed you today. 

I know it has been too long

It's summer though, and I finally finished summer school which means, FREE TIME! I'm kind of ashamed to say that I've spent it all watching Lost. Dumb show has me hooked! 

I've also been kicking back and reading, a lot! 

And folks, it's time to move out... again. It feels like I just finished unpacking, and now it's time to pack it all up again. I've been doing some last minute shopping, I guarantee you my room is gonna be off the hook!! Did I really just say that? Well, I'm more than excited to move out into my own apartment, it's going to be a blast! 

Also, check out this bad boy Jake sent me for my birthday! hahaha 

His companion drew me a lovely dinosaur for my birthday haha! I also got some flowers sent to my house! Love that kid! 

Last Day

Monday was my last day with Jake, and 5 min before we were about to say bye he began taking pictures, like a lot of pictures. But since he's not very good at holding a camera to take pictures of us, I'm only putting 2 up :) 

I love that we're both wearing our favorite shirts ever, it makes the picture a million times better! 

Present!

This was delivered to my house today, it's from Jake. The note inside said, "You will always be surrounded by the strength of my love" Yes, I cried. 

I love it Jake, thanks :)

Elder DeGracie

Jake reports to the MTC tomorrow morning, crazy. We spent our last day together on Monday, and it was perfect. We finished up some errands and got him all packed up to go. I'm so proud of him and even though I'm missing him like crazy already, I'm so proud and happy for him. He'll be serving in the Chile Concepcion South Mission and will be learning to speak spanish! Which I'm super excited about! 

So Elder DeGracie, I love you and wish you the best of luck. I'll be here waiting to see you again, see you in two years.

How do I break out of this daily habit?

The Week

It's "the week", Jake leaves in a week and no one mentioned how hard it was going to be. I'm crazy happy one second and next thing I know I'm in tears, please help me!
